Assetlife Alliance offers a range of training and education opportunities for asset owners and contractors to ensure that they are able to understand, deliver and utilise the latest thinking and technologies. This ranges from specific industry training to generic asset management seminars and client specific training in particular aspects.

Training and Education that is available includes:

CCTV Inspection of Gravity Pipes – This is a 2 day course intended for asset owners, CCTV inspection contractors and asset condition assessors. It covers an asset management overview of why inspections are undertaken and the desired outcomes, camera operation, operational considerations (eg over-pumping), defect identification, information management and making sense of the outcomes.

Asset Management Seminars – This covers a range of pipe network asset management related seminars primarily targeted at asset owners and their staff. Topics currently include using Trenchless Technologies, Condition Assessment, Risk Management and Criticality, Finance Fundamentals for Engineers and Management of Infiltration and Inflow. Seminars are typically run at the asset owners premises and content can be aligned with their specific preferences at that time.
